I ordered online this time and wanted three cookies but could only pay for two. So in the special instructions I asked if it was possible to get one more cookie and they delivered!! I love this place!! As soon as you walk in the smell of fresh meat and bread is amazing! I wI'll never ever ever go anywhere else to get subs! Thank you Baldinos!!! We love you!!

This place is an absolute gem. Tucked on the Buford Highway it is the original retro and the time capsule feel is charming. Everything is good but my two favorites are the excellent cheesesteaks..specifically the Baldino's cheesesteak and the Italian Special. You'll understand why subs are a thing...and why a certain chain that will not be named is such a travesty. Go now!

My husband popped my Baldinos cherry after living in Atlanta for 16 years. It was delicious! If you're looking for a cheap, quick bite... Baldinos is it. They have a special for every day of the week and on Mondays, it's #17 The Sicilian - "The spiciest of them all." Was it spicy? Nah, but it was hella good. Half a sub had me full. Also, don't sleep on the spaghetti. It was pretty solid! Service is quick, and food is fresh. Pretty decent amount of indoor seating, and when it's warm you can enjoy the patio seating as well! Will def be adding to my Chamblee/Doraville rotation, especially when I'm running errands!

HOHUB adores your cookies and your healthy way of making clean and delicious sandwiches. Never close. The cute Indian couple have been doing this work wonderfully for a long time. Good job!

Baldino's is just a great big sub place. Come here if you want good bread with good meat and overall good sub flavor. I often come here when I get a huge craving. Service is quick and you order at the counter. There's some outside seating. Unfortunately, the inside could use a bit of a spruce up. Feels like it's a time capsule and was left back in the 80's. The lighting is dim and doesn't feel fun to be in. This location is probably one of the only decent sandwich shops though in the area, unless you're going for a Banh Mi, but I consider these sandwiches on polar opposite specrums. If you want a Hero, you get a hero, you want a Banh Mi, you get a Banh Mi. Never think of the other. Parking is fine, inside is often dead. I think if this place caters to the locals a little more and makes things shiney and pretty, they might see more traffic. Maybe bring in more deserts.

When you want a sandwich that you can't make because it's all about the bread and shredded lettuce and you don't want a chain to degrade the meaning of "Jersey sub" then you need Baldinos Giant Jersey Subs...Mikes is a close second but Baldinos is old school and put their name behind the product and not the commercials. Only in Doraville and Savanah Ga. Marietta lost the lease.

Baldinos is a fast-casual Doraville culinary landmark featuring Jersey-style sub sandwiches. This is actually a Georgia chain of restaurants, but Doraville hosts the only metro-Atlanta location. It is MARTA-accessible via the 124 bus (it is a mile walk from the Doraville MARTA station). Not much has changed about the interior or menu of Baldinos or its menu over the four decades of its existence, and I love it. It is a no frills establishment where the food speaks for itself. I enjoyed the sounds of Barry White, Temptations, and other tunes from the 1970s in the background. I ordered the Pepper Steak sub (w/lettuce, cheese, vinegar and oil, salt, oregano, spicy mustard, and sweet peppers), Pasta Salad, and Pepperoni Roll. The pepperoni roll is very simply prepared: bread, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese. Baldinos' bread is so good that you really don't need much else. With that said, I would recommend ordering a side of marinara sauce and would love a little sprinkle of garlic salt to take it to the next level. The pasta salad is deliciously creamy, with hints of mustard. The steak sub was good. The steak was tender, but I could have used a little more flavor. The bread and other other components made up for any flavor deficiencies. I would also recommend any of the Italian subs (#15, #17, #24, #29). They also have pretty good spaghetti. I look forward to going back, as I want to try the meatball sub and the marinated chicken salad sub.

I love when I get a chance to eat at baldinos. They have really good subs for a fair price. The bread is delicious and made fresh daily. I really enjoy the macaroni salad too. The people who work are fantastic! I love how nice they are and you can see they have a relationship with the regular customers that come in. The only very small knock is the parking lot. It's really small and tight so if they are really busy you might have to park next door. Generally speaking though if you are looking for a tasty sub this should be on your list.

I have probably passed this place a bajillion times. But only when I searched for something other than Asian food on Buford Highway that I found this place. The reviews here are pretty good! And indeed it was: The price, quality, and proportions were great. There was a healthy crowd of people of all ranges here for a Saturday lunch. The place was buzzing with people so that's always a good sign. The hubs decided on the Saturday special: $5.49 all day -- steak sub of your choice of #11, #13, or #19. I ended up with the Italian battalion since it seemed to be the more popular choice as I browsed the photos. At times you have to let your eyes pick your food choice. The hubs seemed to really like his pick of #19. Even though it was a half sandwich, he said it was pretty stuffed and a fairly large one. This was a hot sandwich, and it was a gooey one full of deliciousness. The cheese, onions, and mushrooms just oozed together and added more flavors to the steak. My sandwich was pretty hefty. Despite the bread not being super amazing like it was baked fresh there (still good though), the sandwich overall was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and abundant. It came with extra pressed ham, cooked ham, hard salami, cappacola, pepperoni, and provolone cheese. Overall Baldinos was amazing. And do heed the word giant in their name because giant was indeed what it was. See you again next time!
